This is some audience feedback that we got for our website for this we used screencast we where able to show the tour of our video where it would record the voice. We did not  ask any particular questions but just an overall opinion of what they thought what they liked from there first view of the website this video shows the results this will help to answer our evolution questions.

This is the website created by India and Fatima I haven't really had much to do with the website as each member had different task,  mine was to create the digipack and this is the first time I have looked at the website properly. although through the process  we have come together to discuss colour themes and other ideas to make sure that the website and blog are consistent for example I used photo shop colour picker to pick the  colour from the logo to ensure that it matched the colours used on by digipack. I really like the website and all the essentials have been included things that I saw where consistent when looking through other stars websites such as links to there social networking pages such as twitter and Facebook and they are included in our website , it has the link to iTunes which I think is really good as it suggest that you are able to access our music video from there. On the websites that we looked at they where all selling some form of merchandise clothing perfume branded with the stars logo name we have also included  this such as our bags and hat I think the website is great and everything is included.

We need to ensure that the colour scheme and font is consistent through out making sure the same colours where also used for the digipack so I made sure with India when she was making the website that we had correct colouring through out and that there is a clear link between the two for example the same image that is seen on the front of the website is the same  as what has been used for the front cover this will be the first thing that they see and led for them to also buy the album  of our digipack. I think the colour choice is good it works well with the theme of the music as it is a love song an works and creates the characters star image pink and girly this is similar to dyers star theory of creating a star image that is what I believe we have done with this.we can see that we have the social networking sites above a key feature to many of the websites that we had looked at this is a good way for our fans to keep updated and feel a connection with our star we can see that India has continues the colour theme and kept them in pink as well









India added an about me page I think this is really good gives the fans a bit about the star people always like to know about the stars they watch and listen two, she has also included the signature that had been used on our digi pack we continue to see the connection between the two.

Here is a gallery page india has created for our website it gives the audience and insight into the creation of the music video makes them feel involved it brings more to the website.it focuses closely to the star making her our priority and making our fans more exited for the relies of our new video and album.

This is some of the merchandise that Fatima created for our website this is not all as there was some difficulty with uploading some of the work but what has been put up it really good idea as its another form of advertising for our star once the products our brought they have our logo on them, its a form of synergy and will be really go for our advertisement and a also for our fans as they get wear our logo.

This is some of the merchandise that Fatima has created for our website we can see that she has created this on photo shop she has showed her progress through this task and allowed us to see the final product. I think the final products look really good and the colour scheme match that of our website and our digi pack.

Websites analysis

In preparation for the making of our website we would need a good idea of what needs to be included so our task was to analyse a website of a known star I looked at niki minarje some key features that I found where the sale of some of her merchandise this is something we should include when making our website , It also has a number of links to many different social networking site such as titter and Instagrame  I think we should defiantly have these on our website is allows our fans to feel apart of what's going on viewing the stars personal page. This task has aloud use to understand the key things in making our website successful.

Audience feedback for my digipack

I have decided to create a Facebook page for my digpack audience feed back this is a good way as everyone uses social media websites on a daily basis, I believe  this is a good way to get quick fast response this is what I need in order to complete my evaluation questions I hope  to receive feed back very soon. I have joined a number of people to this groups  not just our target audience but the majority our this hopefully will help me to answer some other the questions within my evaluation.

Digipack changed four images

The hole way through my creation of our digipack I have been working on a six image template but at the last stages  I have changed my mind and decided to use a four image digi pack as I felt the previous one began to look messy and to much and four would be more affective. I think this looks much better than it previously did and its all tied together the images work well with each other much better than what it would have been as 6 image.

Digi pack so far

This was my digipack after todays lesson nearly completed just have to added a small number of things such as my last photo image and our track list. the last image that I have added the top right is a image taken from our edit this is an image that i did not original plan to use but i thinks an a really affective image and looks good on our digipack, I also added our music production logo there are just a a thew small things needed to tie our digipack together.

This is my didgi pack after todays lesson I was able to start on the back cover where I have added the content of it such as the copy right regulations the bare code and a digital qr code once this is completed I will then add the photo that we have chosen as our back cover to this along with the song list

Blogger banner

I decided that with the image used for our front cover on our digipack I would create a banner for our groups blogs that I created on photo shop keeping the image the same size I layer the rest in grey to match the image I have uploaded this o the blog but plan to add onto it with our logo and tour dates. I thought that this would be a good idea as it ties our blog together with the rest of the work that we have done along with extra promotion for our artist.

Digipack today unable to work

Today I came back after school planning to do more of my digipack I wanted to add the logo and the smaller details needed on my digipack such as our stars signature but I was unable to do this because photo shop was not working properly it was not letting me complete the task I set out to do it wouldn't let me crop change colours or create layers I was unable to do anything with this. I plan to do this another day after school but this has put me behind my personal schedule on completing my didgipack   as I planned to finish it before Thursday this deadline is now unreachable, but form this I have learnt that you are not always able to rely on technology and you have to plan better for technology differences so I could have planned something else to complete and continue.

Digi pack so far two images

This is the new image I have uploaded to the digi pack it will not just be this image alone on top of the collage we are going to add our artist signature I am able to scan it into the compute then add it onto the image making it the same colour as the lips in our other photo so there is a continues link between our digipack and our website.

For the next image I decided to use a photo collage where I simply uploaded all the pictures that we had chosen to the website  and it put  them together for me I was able to chose the colours ,I chose black and white I was also able to decide the style the images where placed in mine are square you can  chose a number of different shapes and sizes  I think it gives a really nice affect and its simple.                                                                                                                                           

This the final peace once it had been uploaded and saved I will know add it to the digipack template. and continue thther progress of my digi pack.

I saved the image and added it to the digipack template that we have been given with the image saved on her I will later add the essential our logo will also be included on our front cover but this will be added once all the image are uploaded to the template. Editing this image has take the majority of my lesson time and with out the right technology at home I am unable to continue but I plan to add the next stages of my didgi pack in Fridays lesson.  

Production diary digipack steps to first image

 First I added to layers they where both colours images of the photo this would allow me to go over and colour the parts of the images that I would like in black and white as you can see I have began to do this hear. 

 I used a larger brush this allowed me to cover the hole image avoiding the lips as they are the feature I will keep in colour then I chose the smaller brush this allowed me to get better detail around the area with out colouring over the lip area. 

 when it come to the closes part of the lip it was hard to keep a steady line and see what I am doing is correct using the zoom tool I was able to identify the specific part of the image that I wanted to look out this allowed me to get very close to the lip line no mistakes and make sure that everything else around that area was in black and white with the smaller brush it was easier to miss little bits that would remain in colour.

This is the final piece once the colour was complete I was able to go back and enhance the colour of the lips it was really hard to get the correct colour we want the pink to match the colour of our website I was finally able to get this colour but once this had been done it was clear that in some parts of the picture the layer underneath was coming through parts where not black and white so I went back with the brush and went over the hole of the image.

As completing my planning I have began my digipack in todays lesson I started with the front cover image the close up of our artist I feel this image should be used because she is the audiences interest they will be able to recognise an image of her and more likely to buy her album . With this image I wanted to create a black and white image where the colour would remain in one chosen area I wanted to keep the lips in colour and the rest of the image to remain black and white this is called mask colour affect. I uploaded the image onto photo shop then I was stuck I dint know what to do next so I watch this tutorial on YouTube of how I am able to do this. It was not as simple as I first thought. so I watched over this video a number of times taking in the key notes and then started my progression begins on the next blog posts.

Digi pack rough ideas, images we could use

Many of the photos for our digi pack we will be able to take during filming the ideas we where going for is using the  50s microphone we would like to create a dark image where the only thing you are able to see is this microphone thanks to a spot light. another picture would  be the same but we would have our star also in this picture and the spot light would be on her she will be what stands out these where just a few ideas that i thought of i need to discus them with my group and see if they like the ideas and to hear there ideas of what they would like to put on our digi pack.Although these ideas are simple i think that it will create a great affect and work well with the theme and genre of our music video and song and hope that every one in the group will agree with these ideas.

Rough digipack two google images

looking at the sketches from of my digi pack I was able to find images that where similar to our on  Google  this was to create a realistic idea of what ours final piece would look like and if anything we didn't like we could make last minute changes to our plan before I begin to make the final peace. I showed this to the rest of the group they had already seen the sketch this gave them the chance to see a better idea they all agreed with this plan and I will begin to make the didgi pack next scheduled lesson.

Rough ideas of our digipack story board

This is a very simple sketch for our digi pack with a simple setch for the ideal photos that we would like to get they may not all be possible to create but this is the idea we our going for all the group have had there input of ideas and agree on the final scetch on the day we plan to take a range of diffrent shots and photos so we have a varriety of choice we mite be supprised but what we see and change the type of photo or once the photo has been take it may not look as good as how we all first imagind picture so taking many gives us more choice but these are our rough ideas.

the first image on the top left is our two charecters in our video as our song is a love songwe thought our pictures could also creat some narrative bring some feelings to the audiance we though they could be looking at the stars beacuse i feel that it is a very romantic setting but it also brings some reusentation of the song as it is called dream representing night time we plan to take this image against the green screen where we will then be able to add the image of the night sky we wanted a more natural image but the weather is currently very rainy and cloudy you are unable to see the stars in the scky and its unpractical to be out in the rain.

The image on the bottom left became an idea durring filming when we toke a simple shoot of the micraphone alone when looking back at the filming the anle was great and the light hit the micraphone just right so we plan to take a scren shot form this and use it as part of our digi pack it also adds alot to our orriganal idea our 1950 theme as it is a replica 1950 micraphone this idea was change beacus of problems out of our control so its nic to still be able to include a part of our origonal idea.

but we would like to do a more front on photo with a similar colour scheme as she has used we really like this idea and will be our insperation when taking these photos.

Colour choice digi pack

Our genre is romance , we need to get colours that will work well with this ans reflect our genre we used a website called colour scheme designer to work our the exact colours that we need ,They have six different choices: Mono, Complement, Triad, Tetrad, Analogic and Accented Analogic. our first ideas we had where to use the colour red but this would have to be a colour through our on our digi pack and on our website it would have to be shown as a colour to represent our group but its such a strong colour and is to much for our theme although red represents love but it could also be seen as a strong colour that represents anger that does not match our song and its loving lyrics.

after this decision India  task was to  looked closely at the colours we could use and make a decision here is her work bellow. 

So we settled for more delicate, candy colours like lilac or eggshell blue. For this colour scheme I used 'Triad' because it gives you three choices.

The Fuchsia in this colour scheme would be good for the main colour because it connotes maybe a pink lipstick, which is useful because a red is more seductive and pink is more playful. For the complimentary colours, we would chose 34CFBE, FFE273 and E165B9 because they're more colourful but not overpowering or solid.

This is the second colour scheme that we put together, we had an idea to for our Digipak to reflect different times of day when the clouds are stained with the sun. For example, sunset, sunrise etc and the use of colours like lilac and pink/orange would be a nice choice.

Choice of font for our digi pack

These are some of the fonts we have looked at for our Digipak font. We tried to chose fonts that represented and reflected our romance genre.

We chose this font because it was in Italics, which basically reflects the seductiveness of romance. The font looks as if it has been drawn in pen as well, which makes it seem like the type of font you would see in a diary.

We chose this font because it gets straight to the point, the one heart signifies the romance genre and the fact that it's is weathered shows that the relationship is going through some hard times. The use of capitals make it stand out and they also make it seem like the 'Dream' holds a lot of importance to the narrator.

We chose this font because because it reflected the Garden of Eden, with the vines coming off it, which is usually linked to love. Again, it looks a little like something you would see in a diary which makes it more romantic as well. Also, the connotations of Adam & Eve falling in love while in the Garden made  it an easy choice because it's a widely used connection.

In my opinion, I think we should use the second font because it looks like an abstract font, it's straight to the point and it's not too complicated in terms of design.

This logo that we have decided to use this will be loated on our digipack and on our website this will become our recognition for our artist when these see this we will then be related for example the rolling stones are recognised buy this logo alone poeple see this and know who they are they become recognised beacuse of this that is what we want to create with this image a recognition for our star.
